Today, I'm gonna review the dark kohl from the brand "Maybelline". The product claims 2x dark black look in a stroke.

Price:- Rs.300/- for 0.35gm

Shelf Life:- 24 months

How to use:- Starting at the inner corner of the eye, draw a neat line along the waterline. Starting once again, at the inner corner, add a bold stroke along the upper lash line.

Packaging:- The packaging is average. It comes in black and yellow cardboard box with all the details mentioned on it. The kajal comes in an retractable pen with a tight cap. Non messy totally.

Can be carried in purse easily.

My Experience:- The kajal is darker than the previous Maybelline colossal kajal. The texture is creamy and glides smoothly. The color pay off is spot on. One swipe doesn't give the desired result but two swipes does the work. The matte effect gives a nice look. As it is matte it tends to get a bit on dry side once settled after application. There is no break out on application. The claim of waterproof and smudge proof definitely passes the test. You need a makeup remover to wipe it off completely. The staying power is pretty good for around 8-9 hrs. So the 16h claim is not promising. If you have dry eyes then it might not last that long. This kajal is perfect for that dramatic wing eyeliner style or smokey eye look. Though i find the price on a higher side for this kohl.
